Service Moreno Valley since 1962
OF THE THINGS WE THINK, SAY, OR DO
FIRST: Is it the truth?
SECOND: Is it fair to all concerned?
THIRD: Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
FOURTH: Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
The Rotary Club of Moreno Valley combines local service, global impact, and a unique camaraderie that fosters lifelong friendships and a sense of fulfillment.
Thanksgiving Luncheon
For over 40 years, the Moreno Valley Rotary hosts a Thanksgiving luncheon for those in need. Our current location is at the Cornerstone Christian Fellowship located at 13300 Indian St, Moreno Valley. The lunch is free of charge and our guests enjoy a choral performance by the Valley View Madrigals choir.
4 Way Test Speech Contest
The Rotary 4-Way Test Speech Contest invites students to showcase their public speaking skills while applying Rotary’s values of truth, fairness, goodwill, and benefit to all. It’s a fun way to inspire ethical thinking, build confidence, and compete for scholarships!
Books for the Children's Library
In honor of our guest speaker, our club donates children's books to the Moreno Valley library. To date, we have donated over 1000 books. Our speaker signs the bookplate and receives a commerative Rotary pen as a token of our appreciation.
Maintain the M
The iconic "M" on Blue Mountain has stood as a proud symbol of Moreno Valley’s spirit and community pride for decades. Originally conceived in the early 1960s by local students and Rotarians, the "M" was created to represent the growing identity of the city. Built with rocks and whitewashed for visibility, it quickly became a beloved landmark. Our club maintains M by removing weeds and providing fresh paint to preserve this reminder of Moreno Valley’s unity, history, and resilience against the backdrop of the beautiful Blue Mountain.
College Scholarships
One deserving student at each Moreno Valley high schools receives a $1000 scholarship to help offset their school expenses. Students can get the application from their guidance counselor to be considered for this award.
Outstanding Student Awards
The Rotary Outstanding Student Awards recognize exceptional students from Moreno Valley schools who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to service. Each year, the Rotary Club of Moreno Valley honors students who go above and beyond in their studies, their character, and their contributions to their school and community. By celebrating these outstanding young leaders, Rotary encourages a culture of achievement and service, inspiring students to continue making a positive impact both in and beyond the classroom.
